James facilitates A Novel Approach First Draft again in 2019-2020 after taking a break last year to work on his own novel.
Now he’s back and offering First Draft on Tuesday mornings at Uplands (with a back-up plan to host specific workshops in the towns of Uxbridge or Port Perry if road conditions are winter-adverse that day.)
First Draft usually offers 22 workshop dates (2.5 hours each) and one or two weekend writing dates throughout the year.
But because this session is offered on a weekday morning, James is offering 20 (3 hr) workshops and adding 3 double-header dates (to use baseball game terminology) where participants come for the morning session, stay for a simple lunch and then continue for another class or 3 hours of silent writing in the afternoon (shared reading by the participants of new writing during the last half hour of course!)
James will talk over the best possible dates for the double-header classes with the participants at the first class in September.
